I doubt it is against the rules to run a full bumper in 4cycle. You are allowed at gold cup. The only problem I possibly see is it being mandatory for full bumper in 2cycle. Given this has been in place for so long already I dont see how u wouldn't already have one anyway. Sad if a simple bumper would cost you a shot at all that prize $$$

We have had a couple of questions about misc items:

MISC INFO:
*Racers DO NOT have to be a member of any sanctioning body to run this event.
*Junior racers MAY advance an age division.
*Tires will be available at the track for purchase if desired.
*In the event of the R***/wet stuff we WILL race on MAXXIS SLW Rain Tires. There is no need to buy these in advance at this time. We will have them for sale at the track if needed. We are also working on a rental program but we are hoping we get sunny skies for this particular weekend.
*We are close to 100 Pre-Entries thus far for this event. We have also spoke to several who are entering at the event. Adult clone is our biggest class thus far.
*The second track location for the 4 race Tour has not been finalized yet. We do hope to have this finalized before the first race.

I was pretty skeptical that the Tag turnout would be very good, given that there are a lot Tag races to go to, but this could be a good race. Many of the guys I know are considering going, but will wait until the last minute because of the sketchy Midwest weather. If the weather is good, it should be pretty awesome. I hope Maxxis has a lot of tires on hand at the track.

Mason Chelootz (#1 Ranked Driver in TAG) will be in attendance.

Tommy Andersen (#7 Ranked Driver in TAG) will also be in attendance.

We want to thank them for their support and all of the drivers for supporting this event. We have been working hard to provide some pretty cool stuff for you guys. We hope this will be an event you talk about for years to come!

Based on the people we have talked too, I think we will have 40 to 60 Tags signed up.

How many will start the A-Main?

Follow up question; how many will make it through turn 1? Laughing

Tim,
If it is not snowing or an ice storm, we will be there.

Same here, but the weather at that time of the year can be a huge factor.

Mark Sr. said they started I believe 82 at the Robopong one year. I am not sure we will start that many but we will start as many as we can and still provide a good race.

We were in that race. It was a big one for sure.

There is a chance we'll be there too, weather dependent of course.
