| For the people going, anybody decided on a starting gear ratio based on the straight length of 900'? I'd like to get the drive gear right so I don't have to change it out there. Trying to do as little work as possible out there and just have a good time! |

Start with a 1.47 17/25
That gear seems to work pretty well at IMI with a similar length straight. Good luck and see you there. |

Tyson, the track is also about 400ft shy of 7/10mile though. I was going to start a a 17/27 : 1.588

| Hmm. I was thinking about 18/26, 1.44. Figured use 1-5 for most of the track except the front straight. Not sure what the exit speed is going to be on the rest of the slower turns though. |

| I have 17/25 bolted on mine to start with. I'm the worst at picking somewhere to start. The fast guys at my track run a 17/27, 7/10s long shorter straight. Entrance to the straight should be faster than our track so that was my thinking on the 17/25. Good Luck. BTW, running Stock Heavy here. |
