Tire question

I have heard that ygc's are a softer compound than the new yhc tire. If this is true do you think it would be a good idea to run the old ygc's on the front and the new yhc on the rear?

Well you could do that but you would have an imbalance between the front and the rear grip wise. The YHC's are a little harder than the YGC's. You could use two different compounds in practice but for a race the rules would require that you use the same compound front and rear. Since the new tire is the YHC that is what you will need.

So they won't let you mix the tires for the race or are you saying they won't let you run the ygc alltogether. I thought they were going to let you run either.

Are you doing this in an attempt to loosen the rear or to get the front planted or both. What handling trouble do you usually have, tight?

Some run ygb front and ygc rear, don't worry about it unless there's some rule against it.
