So I started breaking apart my kart and the carb had green deposits in the float bowl. Previous owner used antifreeze. So I take it I have a leak somewhere what should I be expecting or looking for when I split the cases?

Green liquid, green stains, green crystal deposits? The path that antifreeze would have to take to get into the float bowl makes it somewhat unlikely that you have antifreeze in there. You would more likely see antifreeze in the oil when you drain the "gear box" or settled down in the bottom end. It's probably 2stroke oil, deposits left over from gasoline evaportation (if it was left sitting with gas in it), or alcohol based corrosion. Couldn't tell you for sure without a picture, more info on the engine, or having the engine in front of me.

definately green crystals. I did just take gear cover off and oil was a little dirtier than i wouldve expected but def just oil. Previous owner did just leave fuel inside and stored it but when i drained gas tank there was nothing like that. I can can pictures when i get home tonight.

Alcohol corrosion, especially if the crystals appear to be growing out of the aluminum. Wouldn't show up in the plastic tank.

I never see crystals but always see green. The fuel is dyed blue and the oil is red. The oily residue left behind is green.

I've had to clean crystals out of lawn equipment carbs that had ethi fuel left in them over the winter. My 2 stroke oil is green FWIW. Either way it isn't coolant in the float chamber... Getting coolant to leave crystals would be an interesting trick. Clean it out, and soak / poke through all of the jets and orafices. Should be fine as long as nothing is plugged, or corroded too much.

If there is no major pitting, or blocked passages then the short answer is it's fine.
