| Does anyone know if the updated water pump with the metal gear fits the 1994 CR 125? The one I am rebuilding on my spare motor has a questionable shaft (grooved). Fastech sells only 1 for the CR125 but they don't specify which years it will fit. |

I don't know the answer to your question. But I DO know that you most definitely should not use that grooved shaft. I used one once, and it leaked water past the bearings and seals and got water into the bottom end and caused a big mess of things. _________________ "Karting Expert Since 2014" |

The early years 125 did come stock with the plastic gear, and when they shred all the teeth off, the plastic doesn't contaminate the oil!!!
Yes, the later metal gear shaft should fit the earlier cases....
