Thunderhill Raceway Sunday March 3rd with NCK
Yes it is on SUNday
I am really looking forward to the next race
This is my favorite track
The first race of 2013 at Laguna Seca was spectacular and almost everyone impressed me with their skills on and off the track
Kerry made it through the whole weekend with out pissing Noah off
Hegars made it through the entire day and still had enough energy to pack up and leave at the end of the day . . . amazing
How many people did you help out during the day so that they could race a little easier or better
The ICE's English bull dogs growled a lot, but nobody got bit. William's started to run away but, his bark was worse than his bite, so he got sent to the dog house. DroffatS was in the hunt but got distracted and stopped to chase his tail in the Corkscrew Martin ended up with the treat
5 or 6 racers in the the best race of the day, Stock Moto, stretched each others patience but sportsmanship prevailed and we were treated to a drafting duel |

We should have good weather again. |

3 weeks until you can just drive. No walled canyons to navigate just wide open space. Thunderhill is somewhere to relax and test your driving skills. Weather looks Sunny and NCK puts on a good race. Get your friends to dust off those karts and come with us to our favorite track |

Hello to all of the NCK Family -
First I would like to let everyone know that registration has been opened for the Thunderhill event scheduled for SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY, March 3rd. Registration closes the Wednesday night at Midnight prior to the event.
We will be returning to our normal event schedule for this event and the remainder of the season, all classes run for points.
More details later in this email.
We would like to thank all of the folks that supported the Laguna Seca event. We had almost 30 Stock Motos on the grid, one of the largest fields of Stock Motos to take a track. And big thanks to all that came from near and far.
We are in need of help with towing at our events. If you know someone that can help us, let me know. We do cover expenses (negotiable) and lunch.
Event awards - going forward, we will offer trophies on request only. We are happy to give you a trophy, we just need to know you want it. We are bringing back the old tradition of the "I Want My Trophy" request form and we are investigating add this as an option to select on the DLB registration system. Your trophy will be delivered at the following event, with your name, class, and placement shown on the trophy. We are making it more personal that way.
EVENT REMINDERS:
We run by IKF rules. If you do not have a rulebook, we will have one at the scales for reference. Otherwise, you can ask a Board member, signup with IKF for a membership, or order one from the IKF office.
It is important for you to know the rules that cover you and your class if you are going to go to the Grand Nationals this year at Portland. Get it right with us so you won't have an issue at the GRANDS.
We are offering the $100 for $100 deal this season, bring someone new to the event and you both get to enter All You Can Race for $100.
We will be offering Friends as Family at the end of the day as time permits.
There will be no camping at the track on Saturday or Sunday nights. To do so requires us to pay a camping fee to the track and hire Security for the night. You can camp on the side of the driveway (lots of space there) or there is the RV Park closer to the Walmart on the road out to the track. Also, no electricity will be available.
We will not have the use of the PA, so like we have been doing lately, you need to be on your marks on schedule. You all have been doing great with that, please keep it up.
Our website has been updated with the current Board member info and contact info. Also you can email nckbod@nckroadracing.com to get an email to your Board. We want to hear your comments and suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going forward we are planning to open registration for the next event on the Tuesday following an event. Enter early.
All the best, Happy Valentine's Day, and see ya at the races.

Thanks Mark! But if I went with a 3 tooth split I 'd have to be at Daytona. What track is it similar to? I'm trying to get the kart ready because I'll be gone next couple of weeks. Thanks.John |

John you will want to drop a tooth on the axle or add 1 to the drive gear from Sears point set up. Thunderhill is 3 miles long with a couple of long high gear runs _________________ Mark Morrison
