Stock moto's should not run pump gas as it will cause detonation. Some people may run it in ignorance but would be better off (and faster) if running MS 98 or higher octane fuel. That being said, if people want to use pump fuel, I see no issue in that from a competition point of view.

WKC requires rear hubs have set screws installed for safety. Is this going to be required for the race at Summit Point? _________________ #8 CRG JWR Maxter

One more question to add to that, since Woodbridge runs under the sphere of the WKA, are you guys going to need a WKA license to run there? _________________ C. Skowron

Thanks Ed and Chuck. I have been in contact with WKC about certain issues. I have already asked about the tether situation and as for the WKA license. We are our own series, I dont think it will be an issue. I will verify though. _________________ www.neShifterKartSeries.com

While you are at it, I am not sure if everyone (most do) has a secondary cable that serves as a brake rod in case the rod fails (WKA rule also), and full width bumpers? I think I saw one not full width one in one of the races.

Just read on the facebook site that the June 22nd OVRP race was nixed. To be replaced by a race on the same date at another T.B.A. location.
It was asked over there what everyone thought of the decision...
It's difficult to say honestly, until the new location of the race is announced; which I read would be disclosed in the near-future. Having said that, I don't know of anyone personally who disliked racing there. And the track is in a pretty convenient location; right in the center and relatively close to a lot of drivers who race in the series. So I guess that could be seen as a loss. _________________ C. Propsosals for June date
1. Trois-Rivières, QC. We could get them to come down here to race eh?
2. WKC has date at Summit Point different configuration.
3. Tight, little (might be too small) tracks Cherry Valley, NY or Batavia, NY
4. NJMP _________________ #8 CRG JWR Maxter

Lets get back to the first race with the wkc, I spoke with the appropriate people. I'm still waiting on written confirmation but I will go out on a limb and say, as for the wka temporary license, if you are to run nesks sprint race, you do not need it. If you want to run the wkc road race, you will need it. I hope to be able to do both.
The tether or set screws in the rear hubs will be necessary. I believe all other tech rules are the same.
Now for the OVRP situation. We either go to the same track twice, or we will have to make another long journey. We still have the opportunity to race at OVRP but it will be without the f- series. What do you think? _________________ www.neShifterKartSeries.com

I would have no problem with racing at OVRP, even if it's without the F-Series. But again, this is just one person's opinion; maybe others will chime in thinking differently.
Would it still be on the 6/22? Or would it be re-scheduled to another date?
Whenever it is, it still sounds a lot more appealing than another long haul somewhere, wherever that might be. Although if that long haul happens to be NHKA at NHMS, that would actually be a shorter trip for me than OVRP ironically enough, but I still think OVRP would be better for the series in general. (No discredit to NHKA, they run a good series.) _________________ C. Skowron

I missed the last night race at OVRP and heard it was great. I would like to see it stay on the schedule and run at night. I think some guys might be unhappy to have a third "long haul" to do (i dont really care)...I would just like OVRP to be on the schedule _________________ STOCK HONDA SODI KART

I very much enjoy OVRP and would like one or two races there on the calender.
I'm not too hot on running a road race, especially one 6+ hours away. I'm assuming the plan is to run on the full Summit Point track, yes? _________________ CKR/KZ

Run f1 outdoors different direction, that would be like running two tracks in one location:) i am being selfish here, closest track, if batavia is still runnable maybe worth a shot. What about st lawrence? Both are equally far away, and summit poin race is on smaller circuit in may, not full one, if that is what was referenced in previous post. I would like to see canadian tracks if the border crossing is not too much of a problem. Montreal is closer to most then summit point or pittsburgh
