When I purchased my 08 CRG RR it came with a Mychron 3 gold and it is mounted under the front nose. Is there a more preferred location to mount the box such as floor board, side pod, etc?
It's a pain to run wiring along steering shaft then down the hoop then right and left to each sensor.
Would it hurt to be mounted in the center of the floor board or is this asking too much?
Thanks! |

| I've got the same unit on my 250. I've got the box on the floor just under the front of the seat. No problems. |

| When I was racing a 125, I mounted the box under the front fairing, in front of the steering wheel. You can purchase the mount or fab one yourself. Worked very well. |

Ran the box for an EVO-3 for many years with it fastened to the floor pan. Had it located next to the driver, on the side opposite of the KT 100. Used it with rubber pads underneath to absorb vibrations and fabricated an aluminum place to put infront of it to protect from flying debris. No problems. Make sure you have access to connect the download cable. _________________ tony zambos
