Eric in a word....no.... and Ill tell ya why. Ill set an example. Were all at Oregon raceway park, your heating your tires lifes good. You give the crew the go ahead to roll the tire warmers off and get down to business. We all sit there an rev engines for a minute giving each other the stare down waiting for the track to clear. we roll out and cruze around picking up clag debris whatever. the whole time cold air whizzing over tires. Look at best you might have an advantage for 2-3 corners once we go green but in a half hour race, everyone will sort out exactly where they will finish. Its just not worth the hassle in my opinion.

There were a couple of guys that were using them at our club races and the only time it seemed they had a noticeable advantage was in the rain or in very cold conditions. In 'normal' conditions I say no advantage. _________________ Blaise Haynes

In cold weather on practice days with short sessions and a fast turn-around times ,YES !! otherwise not much benefit at all... remember though if you are counting the heat cycles to determine the longevity of your tire life you should include each solid use of your tire warmers as such !! _________________ Zanardi/ TM K-9 C 125cc shifter

| I'm not sure under IKF rules if they are legal or not. I don't believe they are. |

| Probably not a bad rule,I think they would be a nice advantage on a wall start. |
