Last year Brian was beat by Kelly Lawrence on more than 1 race last year or had fast time with his Noah Stark prepped Honda in F125 _________________ Jeff DeMello

Keep in mind folks, this guy is in the UK so none of the moto stuff matters to him. Maybe RS, but even at that KZ/ICC is so common over there there's not a whole load of reasons to bother.
Over here, personally I think its nip and tuck between mods and KZ on the bigger tracks and with a draft (or faster driver) the stronger stockers can hang too.
A KZ "base" motor running the same open rules as a mod moto though (no compression limits, open carb, free exhaust port timing, open/CDI ignition, and open pipe) and its a different ballgame.
On twisty tracks a KZ will usually have the upper hand almost every time, especially against the motos built with super high compression. More sensible lower compression mod motos its closer but overall the driveability\more linear throttle response of the KZ gives it the edge.
Lots of choice out there, grab whatever you can get the best deal on, come and play. _________________ Live in the midwest and have a TaG, Shifter, KPV, KT100, Animal\LO206, enduro or superkart?

Chris,
Not in to the lizards (laydown). But will take on any laydown with a sprint KZ. Honestly don't know where the moto has any edge in torque or power.
Check out times at Las Vegas KZ vs moto. Why would a moto have an edge over KZ.
Remember motos are the training wheels for KZ drivers. _________________ Tom Barth

Step away from the sprint track sir or not... step back slowly and make sure both packages are at the same weight with comparable pilots when looking at the data. With an open mind they are very very close.. but we all know your not open to the other imported option and that's just fine.
Never mind it is a waste of time, it's like Ford vs Chevy, Ferrari vs Lambo, dogs vs cats, flag team vs cheerleaders. _________________ www.Hegar4.com |

| While watching the race from atop the suites the 125's left the grid first with a split start the 2nd flag sent the tags on there way, Ted Stefke got spun out in turn 2 by a kamikaze pilot and ended up in the middle of the tag race by the time he got going again the lead pack of 125 icc's were running in a 4 and 5 kart draft the entire race Ted was running alone and was consistantly turning laps 1 second faster than the lead pack with his Paul Leary mod Honda and ended up finishing 5th with fastest lap. |

Ed Watts was running in the NE Shifter Series with a Leary honda. That thing rips! Definitely kept up with the ICCs with ease.
I think he finally laid it to rest this year and got a Maxter. _________________ CKR/KZ

Chris,
I am not referring to the sprint track. I am talking long track - Grattan, Mid Ohio, Waterford, Gingerman, Michigan International Speedway, Blackhawk.
Bring on the best motos you can find.
Brent if we won all the races when we turned the fastest lap, we'd need to rent the Silverdome to store the trophy's. _________________ Tom Barth

Tom,
Bring on the best KZ YOU can build.
Let's make a locked in plan to put it against some Moto's at the WKA race in Grattan this year. No excuses and let's put some skin in the game also since your so confident!
P.s. to everyone...I think KZ's are great as well as Moto's, but I have a problem with someone and their never ending BS... _________________ Fisher Racing Engines
