I would like to know why do people with cheap loud generators always put them at the other end, and opposite side of their trailer so they can't hear it but make everyone else have to listen to it  I say if you if you don't want to hear it nobody else does either.

| I've got an older small Honda 1000, however it will not run a heat gun on high to scrape tires. It will run the heat gun on low but makes the scraping process painfully slow. I just got a new Honda EU3000, it should be up to the task. |

Just checked prices. It would be cheaper to have a complete set of tires and wheels for every heat race then scrape them when I get home.

Most orgs require qualify and race on same tires.
Have you ever done back to back comparisons to see if it makes a difference? There are lots of little things we do at the track that probably just keep us busy, it seems like whatever clag got on your tires would come off in the first half lap anyway....
