Wow
As an engineer I am amazed that people read and actually like my articles.
After reading that I feel like a journalism master !
Seems like they should just title that one 'the following is a paid advertisement.......' |

As an engineering student right now I pretty much agree 100% with everything in that article. That being said what type of battery would we be using? How would we charge it in between runs(swappable batteries?), and how would it affect the overall weight of the kart (or would it be negligible)? The biggest benefit I see is the fact that the interval when you replace batteries/motor would be much longer thus more cost effective. _________________ Adrian Baran

An excerpt:
| Quote: | | ...One reason is that an electric go kart is cheaper than a gas model. There are many electric go karts for under $200. Karts powered by gas generally start around $400 or $500. When you consider the cost of racing karts, buying a kart that is less expensive and practically maintenance free are huge pluses... |
Ha ha, wait until the Italians get their hands on them...

That may have been the most misleading article ever written about karting, period. I wonder where they get the people to write these articles. _________________ High Quality American Made kart stands. Available direct to you or through one of our many dealers.

Hmmm... I am still wondering where I can get those $400-$500 gas powered karts...
Maybe I don't want to know _________________ Mike |

Sorry to troll, thought that was a funny article that everyone would enjoy. Mike Selvon (the author) has written other interesting, and informative pieces. Everything from What is a Semi-Trailer, to Reviewing The Pro Gun Advocates Views On Gun Control. He's apparently a Disability Benefits Expert also. He appears to be from India, and also has articles published on The White Paper Hub. These are all about how to increase your internet presence and trafic. Some more research leads us to India where he resides... and his job of setting up high traffic websites and owner of serveral niche web portals.
So as an answer to the question of where do they get people to write these articles... India...
