| Here's another G1 suggestion for the SuperNats..Have a G1 paddock area, preferably something towards the back gate that can be opened up for early trailer departure from the event. Get us old guys up to speed, qualify, race & go home early...Hard to justify spending 5 days of life for the limited amount of overall track time..Yaa, Yaa, I know, it's a choice thing to participate in this event but also one of the reasons I haven't gone the past few years...It is simply too much time away. |

| I can't see them putting g1 back in because 40 people "call" them and say they would run it. With most anything else you have to put your money where your mouth is. If 30 people called and gave credit card numbers, you "might" see some results. Too many people just like to complain. As far as leaving early; doubtful. People have sticky fingers when everyone is at the awards banquet. Hard to believe 3 hours would really make a difference. Be careful what you ask for. It's a loooooooong walk from the back not to mention its all uphill going to the back. |

I think 35 is a good start for the age, and agree that 40 would be ideal but it may cut into entries.
It would be great to see the class back at the supernats! _________________ www.thekartingzone.com

Chris,
I'm not talking about leaving 3hrs early...I'm talking, we get in, get our racing done & be out of there on Friday, that is unless you want to stick around for Super Sunday...I love the event, just too much time away for so little actual track time. I am aware that my complaint won't gain traction. |

Well its now clear that G1 and KF where not removed from the Supernats because of to little time in the day. Rotax JR. and DD2 are already filling the spot. Pretty much a head scratcher here. _________________ http://bridgemanbroskarting.blogspot.com/

| Eric - I say keep the TM's and race em where you can and i say that for anyone else out there with KZ motors! the more ppl that start showing up with them the more likely these classes will pop up again. As for for the NorthEast, we set the standard. These are the most cutting edge, kart developed motors on the market. They should be raced everywhere! Stock Moto's are great too, but KZ takes the cake IMO. |

Saw that and thought the same... DD2?!?
REALLY?? Who even runs DD2? Does DD2 even have a field bigger than 10 guys anywhere in the country?? _________________ CKR/KZ

Maybe they see G1 in decline and DD2 in growth? Or they had to take DD2 as part of a BRP deal. Who knows? I personally think a projection of growth in DD2 is fantasy land stuff, but I've been wrong before. I'm beginning to think first the S in SKUSA is gravitating toward meaning Spec, rather than Super. I don't want to rag on SKUSA too much because they do a lot of good for the sport and run a great series. It's just getting a bit too spec this spec that, buy this SKUSA labelled thing, buy that endorsed product for my personal taste.
Good news is that across the country there is plenty of action for the G1 type racing outside of SKUSA. Don't the lack of G1 support there stop you enjoying your mod, stock CR that doesn't meet "spec", YZ, TM motor, ICC or KZ. Keep it going at grass roots level and it will grow from there. At some point G1 may return to the supernats, who knows? If not it's not the end of the world, there's always other great series like NESKS for example along with other annual events such as Rock Island and Lone Star GP which still support the open format. _________________ Live in the midwest and have a TaG, Shifter, KPV, KT100, Animal\LO206, enduro or superkart?

For sure G1 was never going to come back. We all know that. I'm over it. KF was sketchy also but both brought good international flavor and non spec engine racing which is good for the show.
The main thing that makes me laugh and I hate this kind of stuff was being sold it was all about saving time on the schedule. Which in a way I can accept, the days where long. But one year later adding back two classes. Another Jr. class, just a different engine? DD2, yeah thats a stacked field everywhere _________________ http://bridgemanbroskarting.blogspot.com/

That's scheduled one week before the last NESKS race, and one week after the last CES event.
Working that in may be difficult for some. _________________ C. Skowron
