I've been talking with Barry, Dan, and Brandon about the new WKA Senior Pipe and it looks like it is certainly a possibility for it being a club level class at Pitt Race for this coming year. I was wondering if anyone who races there locally is planning on joining the class. I'm certainly interested and plan on joining, but I'm trying to gauge other peoples interest.

I think the class has the chance of being a lower spending class than TaG, but still significantly quicker than clones. Is anyone else planning on joining up with this class if you race regularly at Pitt Race? Question

Hi Eric,
My soon to be 15 year old will be running Sr Yamaha this year and we will stop at Pitt Race for at least one and may more events this year. We definitely would prefer the new pipe over the old can.

Paul,
That's great to hear! We are talking about it over on our local forums as well (www.racepa.com) and it seems that we may have a group forming so any additional parties would be great. The trick to keeping the class successful is going to be regular racers who are showing up almost every race weekend.

Can't say I'd make it down for a race but personally I'd be more interested in open pipe or can. I wouldn't buy another pipe just to run at Pitt.
