Does it have right turns? I'm surprised people in Mooresville even know how to construct a track with right turns. When I lived there 99.9% of the people pulled Zoolanders when they had to rotate their bodies clockwise.
Amazing. |

We lived there too. If you do happen to talk favorably about road racing or asphalt sprint racing, you get the strangest looks back. Most of the dirt oval gang looks down their nose at the sprint racing crowd. Sad _________________ Began kart racing 1959. Made many friends along the way. |

Which is ironic because the time I was taken to a dirt track with one of my neighbors and got to drive his clone kart I was on the pace within 10 laps. I didn't find it very challenging to be honest. Some of the higher up stuff yeah sure, 40-50hp dirt karts or the 800hp oval sprint stuff (is that what they're called?) would be challenging I'm sure, but the clone guys would talk so much crap about sprint karts. Would love to see those guys try to drive an Aixro or something like that. |

I go to school at UNC Charlotte and can't wait to check out MMX. It does have a series of right turns by the way haha.
The segment on Speed was really neat and I know a majority of racers already have garage stalls there and visit the track regularly. Just yesterday the Dillon brothers were racing there in the rain.
I'm looking forward to their Challenge Series, especially the Rotax class as they have their major race with them there in July 2013. |
