Anyone have any experience with the visor that mounts on the front of the helmet shield that is round and looks like it spins. Is that the best rain shield and where do I find one?

| That has to be the goofiest thing i've ever seen but if it works it works. It looks like it functions by spinning the water off as you drive. |

What is the effect of that being mounted on a helmet during a crash ? Does the manufacture of the helmet approve of it ? _________________ Ohio Valley Karting Association

Your better off using Rain-X on a clear or yellow visor than using one of those .
You need to duct tape them to the helmet are you sure you want to tape it to your painted helmet??? or you can use another helmet.
80% of the guys here in France use rain-X.

PS cheaper too. _________________ If you can't keep up don't worry I'll be coming around again !

| Whirly visors are goofy, but they work, just a pain to get them attach to certain helmets |

Having used both spin visor and rain-x they each have their plus and minus.
Rain-X is simple, cheap and easy. However I find that vision is clearer with the spin visor (rain-x it also).
I ran a visor I bolted the spin assembly to. Only drawback is do not ever turn your head. It is extremely difficult to get it turned back forward with the wind pressure. _________________ Russell Karting

Jim,
Do you bolt the visor on the the helmet visor or the helmet itself? Do you exclusively wear the visor when it's raining? _________________ Let's Fly!!! |
