We have no experience with the X2 but I have been told that the X2 is a little softer than the X1. It also is supposed to be very flexible as far as adjustments. I have heard that the same X2 has won in the jr. classes, as well as TaG. Very versatile. On that note, we love our X1-CIK.

It would be interesting to see if it is going to help with D1 Mojo tires. I think stiffer chassis needed for D1.
D1 is compound for next year for Junior and below classes.

I own an AX-9 and have driven the X-1 (great handling kart) One of the big differences I noticed reading the X-2 spec sheet is that they went back to having the AX-9 type front steel stub axles instead of the forged aluminum ones of the X-1. I guess they figured out the aluminum was too soft for the application and the weight gain was negligible. For what I have heard it is definitely and improvement but can't really tell until I get my hands on one.

Hopefully someone with experience can shed some light on the matter.

It is an excellent chassis, It set fast race time in Sr. Max, at the US Rotax nationals after being in the country just a few weeks, and has multiple national race polls and wins from the first weekend it hit the track. It won Robopong, and has done equally well in Jr. Tag, Rotax Jr., and Yamaha Jr. & Sr. classes. It seems to be able to carry a little more corning speed than the X1E, or X1 CIK.

I think a Tony Kart and the Arrow X2 feel different. Not that I get in the seat much these days.
