I don't have the latest rulebook yet. What are they asking to be drilled on a Leopard motor for Man Cup engines so the tech seals may be placed on please? thanks

Are people really swapping heads and reed plates for the feature?

I was told it was more about keeping things honest for qualifying.... There isn't much engine tech after qualifications, mostly fuel and maybe airbox inlet checks etc so there is more opportunity to get by with things in qualifications and a better starting position often leads to a better finish. Since the tech is more thorough after the final, competitors might want to make sure all components are able to pass - some might have to switch parts just to make sure Wink
If people have been doing it in the past...... maybe they won't in the future. Yamaha classes are doing a similar seal as well, but I believe the head bolt is wired to an ignition cover bolt.

I was told it's a page out of the 4 stroke book. They've been doing it for years and it's much easier than having to paint every nut and bolt and then arguing about a drop of paint that melted off or dried and fell off. Makes no difference to me as long as theyre not charging me $50 to use their piece of wire and plastic seal...(shhh, hope they didnt hear that.)
