Loved the down hill straight going into the 90 degree turn to the finish line.

22-23 second lap time sprint track are a thing of the past though.

Since the 2013 schedule is out now, what would you like to see for the 2014 racing season? List the top 5 NATIONAL TRACKS and the top 2 HISTORIC TRACKS in order and let's see how it turns out.

Hi Mark,

I will toss this out there, G&J Kartway, which will have 52 years of karting in 2014,
But you guys need to run the 2A configuration which has the original "A" turn which makes or breaks a driver, with the track extension we added on a few years ago it is roughly 8/10's of a mile and will give the TaG drivers the ability to stretch their legs a bit Track safety is top notch , we use the crash bags now which in most cases if you hit them , the driver and kart are unscathed compared the hay-bales .. Wink pretty smooth racing surface .

Our club has a very long history in karting as you well know..
Not to mention the Ohio Valley Karting Association will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014

As far as quality of tracks/facilities go, Gary has some great picks here. I want to race Shawano again so bad! Mooresville, Shawano, New Castle, and NJ are probably some of the nicest tracks with the smoothest pavement in the country, almost to CIK-spec.

Hey John W,
You guys we're talking about Barnesville, does anyone know if the old Pondarosa Bar to the left of the track is still in business?
