Mark,

What's so appealing about Jacksonville?

Why not something new and more challenging to drive, such as Monticello http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xI_kHxKZ46A&feature=related

I think Jacksonville, is a fun, unique track. If i had my choice of either Daytona or Jacksonville, I would take Jax all the time.

This,

I have always hated Jacksonville because I believe it is one of the most dangerous circuits on any calendar. I have images of people going through the fences, and one of my best friends (in cadet) having his karting career ended because of severe internal bleeding because of flipping over one of the many high banks.

I don't think its a very technical track either. But first and foremost, my mind is concerned by the safety of the track.

Jacksonville is grungy and old school. I dig it.

Here are my guesses at the tracks they'll be running....

Moorseville, NC
New Castle, IN
Dousman, WI
Springfield, IL

I'll also take a stab in the dark and say they will be running on Dunlop tires!!!

New Jersey Motorsports Park is an excellent track. It has held national WKA races and a WSK race. The track is very good and the facility is really something else. There is plenty in the area as far as accommodations and the northeast does have a large karting community which quite often goes unnoticed.

I second this for NJMP, great track and tested for large races...

This is all good info. I think the schedule for 2013 is a done deal, but there certainly are plenty of great options for the future being presented here. Let's all make sure we support this series well so it can visit all these great tracks.

The specualtion ends Friday - watch for the class structure & 2013 Official Schedule!!

A historic karting facility will be rewarded a race every year!! You will be pleased with our first years schedule.
