I don't believe there is a clear yes/no answer to your question, but I'll give you my take on it. I have a Ribtect and I love it. Had one in the kart before and will have one in the next kart. When I bought my current kart, it came with the Tillet. Kart scaled correctly and the seat was in the correct position for me, but it didn't feel right, I have a large chest and shoulders compared to my waist and it hit me funny, so I had to adjust my body position entering/exiting corners so it didn't hurt. Put the Ribtect in there and it felt right....no longer had to worry about where or how the seat hit me, so I could just concentrate on driving and not trying to avoid pain. If I would have not worried about the pain with the Tillet and just gone and tried to lay down the most consistent, fastest laps I could, then they may have been equal on paper. I feel much faster in the Ribtect just for the fact that my comfort in the seat is no longer an issue. _________________ KEEP WORKING....millions of people on welfare depend on you !! |
