Vintage karting facility that is a drivers track.

Only if they dare to run the original "A" configuration _________________ Ohio Valley Karting Association

| Others: New Jersey motorsport park, Atlanta's new track, Carolina motorsport park. All of these are great possibilities. Jacksonville for the nostalgic appeal and unique track. |

Interesting that Road America which is an awesome track isn't involved at all in this discussion. _________________ Mark Peters

I truley think that in one of these events a night race should be featured. Racing under the lights is such a cool experience and it was a shame that the tag Sr. guys in vegas couldn't do that this year. Pitt Race karting is a awesome track and has great facilities. Were looking to support the series as well, but racing under the lights like what Tim said would make the series stand out compared to others. I know Renting the lights would be needed, but you could just bump the entry fee a few bucks to compensate for that. It would be worth it! _________________ www.checkeredmotorsports.com

A few tracks across the country have lights. Camden and Jacksonville come to mind quickly.
Another thing that over time that would be nice is that the schedule every year isn't the same. So many good tracks across the country get left off.
If you look at the East coast only here's a list of tracks that could easily host a National type of race. I probably forgot a few tracks.
Monticello - FL
Jacksonville - FL
Orlando - FL
Ocala Grand Prix - FL
Homestead - FL
Palm Beach - FL
Atlanta (AMP) - GA
Kershaw - SC
Mooresville - NC
New Orleans - LA
Dousman - WI
Road America - WI
Shawano - WI
Norway - IL
New Castle - IN
South Bend (MRP) - IN
Camden - OH
Pitt Race - PA
Millville - NJ
No matter what, with only 4 races, some tracks will be left off.

I've never really been a fan of Jacksonville. And in the last 10-15 years the other kart tracks in Florida to me have made Jacksonville 4 or 5 in line in my opinion.
From the driver seat, I think Monticello is one of the, if not the best track to drive in Florida. It's fast but still technically.
Overall facility, I'd give OGP and Orlando a thumbs up over Jacksonville as well.

I'm not arguing your point, I suggested 103rd St. because it has probably the most unique track and for the history of the track. |

Only if we drive the "A" Configuration, thats the home track advantage.

You can rent lights too. MKA in Eau Claire has a night race every year. Its great fun. _________________ CES Grattan pre-entry is open. TaG, Shifter, KPV, KT100, Animal\LO206, enduro or superkart.
