"Okay Kimi we need you to keep warming all 4 tires, keep warmi--"
"Yes, yes, yes, I'm doing it all the time, you don't need to remind me every 10 seconds." _________________ T.J. Koyen

Kimi the Iceman, I love it.
Kimi gave an interview:
Question: How long will your celebrations of this win last?
Kimi: I have almost two weeks. As long as I manage to get myself to the next race I think the team is happy.
Cheers! |

Great to have Kimi winning again.
What a driver, definitely one of the very best on the grid. |

I forget the exact quote, but when Coulthard asked him if he had any emotions after winning his first race after coming back, his reply was 'Not really.' _________________ Spec TaG Masters @ NCMP / #23 |

Just hilarious, loved the chat on the radio and comments with David on the podium, especially DC's comment that English is not Vettle's primary lingo for using the F bomb. Nice job on the bleep out Speed!
Wish I would had not deleted the race from the DVR, I should have kept that one. _________________ Motohead |

Kimi's "leave me alone" radio comment reminded me of a comment by Hamilton a couple years ago "Quit talking to me, I'm trying to drive" (paraphrased from memory).
Since helmet radios are verboten in our sport, I've often wondered how distracting they would be, especially on a tight sprint track. My guess is that the first time the operator cut in, I'd miss a braking point and loop it. |

I could never use a hot mike on the track - I tend to yell at myself when I'm racing (especially when I make a mistake) .
I always liked DC - he covered nicely for Vettel - but I loved the way Vettel phrased it - you could tell he was genuinely concerned about getting into trouble coming through the field .
Vettel had one of the best drives of the last 12 months - right up there with Button at Montreal last year.

Thanks!
I had fallen asleep watching the DVR'ed race after work, and went back to watch the driver's interviews... Too funny! I had already heard Kimi telling them to "Leave me alone, I know what to do!" I wonder if DC was pissed at Vettel for pouring the 'champagne' over his head after his comments about Vettel's choice of words? _________________ Play now, work later! |

| With the night scene in Austin, can you imagine a Kimi win this week? |

| I guess that would depend on what he would be "winning" at. The race? maybe. Texas poleece of any sort? never. |
