Hello guys,
I am looking at a Tony Krypton KRX to race in Tag Masters or Heavy. I weigh 185lbs without clothes. I'll preface my question in saying I do not care if Irun at the top. I have a lot to learn as I have been out of karting for awhile. Budget is limited so I need something that will last. The engine is a Leopard 125. Would this kart be a good choice ? All advice would be greatly appreciated. I live in Venice, FL.
Regards,
Jerry |

You will do just fine! I own a Krypton Leopard and my Father who weighs 215 and is 6ft drives it regularly. I love and prefer the stiffer 32mm chassis. Enjoy it! I am right over in Orlando, so by all means contact me with any questions. I run it most practice weekends here at OKC.
Engine is a great choice if you need something that will last. The Leopard is like the "cadillac" of karting. Very straight forward to work on and very reliable if taken care of properly. My Krypton with the Leopard is my 1st kart and the learning curve has been very reasonable along the way.
