| Quote: | Hegar,
1) Check your PM.
2) For someone who has about every kart man has made (Sprint and Laydown), KART let alone all of the other orgs have several places for the HEGAR family to race!! Smile |
Yes we do have quite a few options for sprint racing or dirt now days but the laydowns are no longer an option for us due to zero runners here to practice with and no relevant classes to what is offered across the country. No we will not run Yamaha.
| Quote: | | 3) As for 125 stock honda, Lane was quicker then the opens last year at HPT for the USKGP. I don't recall seeing you there EITHER!! |
After running every USKGP event ever offered since the beginning from Utah to Virginia we took a season off. To be honest we like your trophy better, they look cool. Can you tell me why we have never ever seen you at any of our events.. ever? Lane runs every weekend, what did you expect.

4) Now if HEGAR MFG would like to sponsor 2 - 125 stock honda classes (1-Sat., 1-Sun), with more then just a couple of entries, I'm sure we could fit this class in so you WILL run 4 times a weekend (not counting laydowns). Very Happy |
If this is what it takes all you had to do was ask. I will lay the ground work with the powers that be and see what they says. I'd imagine if that's the direction we take we would also find a sponsor for some sort of additional prize in these classes to draw more for you.

Coffey who.... I think that guy quit karting.
| Quote: | As for the 2013 KART Road Race Nationals @ HPT:
1) October 4-6, 2013
2) As for classes, I see the same classes that ran this year as of now. We do have room for a FEW LOCAL OPTION classes. Have one, let me know BUT, sponsors & entries will be needed. |
Let me work on it, thanks for the quick response. Again glad to hear things went well, the last thing we need in karting is another org having a poor turnout for it's one big national. _________________ www.Hegar4.com |

Hegar,
1) Truely understand what you mean about laydown karts out West. One benefit we have back here.
2) 125 stock honda: As said in my PM, if there is interest for 2013 (not just talk), sure we can work something out. I will do some posting after the first of the year to see what kind of interest we could get if the class was offered in 2013.
3) As for "THE MAN" not coming West. A) I have been to the West (Ontario, Willow, Portland) but Willow for the IKF nationals was the last. B) No class (laydowns) for myself or my kids to run in. We do get a chance to go East where laydowns are 1-2 times a year though. KART itself has 7-8 races a year so it does make it tough to go to other areas.
Hope to see the Hegar family in 2013. |

Yea it sucks when you look at a schedule and don't see any place you can run doesn't it. _________________ www.Hegar4.com |

David,
Don't go there with the age thing!!! Hegar, want to handle my light work??
Stock Leopard: Engine Tech as per TAGRACING. 385#, BUCKET seat only, radiator & seat no more then 45 degree laid back with no duct work to radiator. No front facing air boxes (run what comes on the Leopard from factory). Doubt it be like WKA but not sure. Same rules for our 40+ class (this would be you!!! ) |

Chris kart has worked with my group very well! We had a group of guys that wanted to run a Yamaha HVY class, we got a number of people to commit to run the class, Mike Sampson stood up to sponsor the class ( you know what the sponsor fee and perks were) and KART added the class.
The class ended up having 17 entries and some good racing.
they also added a JR1 Yamaha class for the 8 to 11 kidos as well.
I don't think I have ever dealt with a group that is willing to work with racers and listen to what the racers want than the KART directors and race promoters.
You build the class and they will come!! _________________ OVER THE HILL OUTLAW |
