What CRG chassis for Tag Senor : Blackstar or KT1 ?

The season is coming to an end and I am exploring some new chassis options for next year.

I will be running Tag Senor 355lbs with a Parilla Leopard on MG whites and IAME cup at 370lbs on hooisers or YLC's. With main focus being on the best kart for MG's. I am 5'9 165lbs if that helps anything.


There are 2 different Tag chassis I have a a choice from:

KT1 30mm or Blackstar 30/32mm

I was looking for feedback on peoples experiences with either chassis? If they had preferred one over the other and why?

I also wanted to see if there was a distinct advantage from year to year? say a 2009 blackstar vs a 2011 blackstar?

I am currently running a 2008 kt1 in TaG at 365 weight. The chassis is a bit short for me I'm 6 foot 155. I love the chassis it's not to hard to tune and have really enjoyed the CRG brand and being able to get parts easily. The brakes are awesome too!
