Like I said. I wasn't there but information on all sides didn't paint a picture of a proud moment for the FJ program. Let's all do better this year. I have no kid in the fight, I'd like to think I can consider all you friends, and I have no bias other than keeping this program about the kids driving and having fun competing fairly with each other and little else.
Also, doing some research with some help from others. Here's some WF Homologation information with regards to CIK homologation since 2006:

| Does the WF need a working rev limiter? It looks like it the old ones have an external rev limit box which can be disabled, but then I see there is a new PLV ignition with it built in. |

| The update is allowed but not required (going off my memory) though I recall it was considered an upgrade. It should not come into play as running that high in the RPM is not only a bad idea for the engine, you will be slower too. |

OK, thanks. It sounds sort of like the Yamaha, no extra gains from revving the heck out of it. That reminds me that I have to order a few gears. Anyone feel free to PM me on a recommended Yamaha JB gear ratio for Lincoln
Looking forward to having fun next week! |

It had better not happen this year. Some people should wake up and realize how thin the ice is that they are skating on.... FJ classes are not "locked" into being a continuously available thing at the Nationals. |
Also remember Mari and I are on our last year of chairing Nationals. Next year Fj may or may not have the chairs working to include the kids... |
