| It depends on where you will race. Acceleration Karting in vegas would be a good shop to ask. Or go to the local race track on a race day and ask around |

| Your best bet is to find a used engine that can be proven to have just been rebuilt by a reputable shop. Anything else stands a high chance of being junk or of needing a $1200 repair. You can check local kart shops and also can watch the classified ads on this board. |
