Are we supposed to break in mg greens just like we do on R tires for production cars?

Not really. One quick run to scuff the tread surface and to make sure they're balanced and hold air. Let them cool down and then you're good to go!

Not really. I usually just throw them on and run them in competitive runs right away.

Yep, MG's will never be stickier than brand new out of the wrapper.

You biggest concern is the OPR and seal sealer you WILL pick up at Nationals. Need to have a way to get it off as the grip goes to crap if your sticky rubber is not touching the ground.
