add Cobra chassis built by Terry Hannum in So. Cal. He built sprints and enduro chassis, good quality craftsmanship. He gave me a dual sprinter to use for a while in 1973 or 74... not a bad kart.
Only built them for a couple years and then he go in some kind of trouble with the law and disappeared.

Some trouble with the law Very Happy I think he was caught in the south finally.

Thanks. Every tube is Cnc bent from 4130 for repeatable accurate bends. And tig welded.

We have a lot of new innovated ideas on the new 2013. I can send you a few pictures if you like.

I haven't updated the web site with the 2013 upgrades.

We came out with our own bearing cassettes that have some neat features and one piece spindles.

Wally Baynes and his Banzai road racing karts built at Inglewood Kart Shop. I ever got the chance to drive one since I was sprint racing but I used to go to IKS for parts and advice. They ruled the roost on the West Coast for the road race crowd back in the lat 70s/early 80s.

So, if a guy decided to produce a quality American Made Sprint Chassis to compete with the European chassis, and do it at an afforable price, what are the "must have's" that you all are looking for in, on, a chassis?

Proven Performance.
Easy to tune.
Knowledgeable dealer network, with a good inventory of parts.

Low pricing would not interest me at all until these criteria are met.

Hey all, speaking of American Karts. What happened to Track Magic?
I grew up racing on their chassis, then I grew away from karting. Now that I am back, they completely disappeared!

Garth,

The Razor Chassis has proven and provided, race winning performance, very easy to tune, high quality, knowledgeable dealer network, good inventory of parts and parts pricing 20-30% less.
Now we are running the chassis in Super Sportsman (F200 and Kt 100 engines) Senior 4/, Jr 1 and 2.

I have heard good things about MGM, Ionic Edge, and we have some very fast Bandit and Margay karts racing with us in the classes mentioned above.
We took on the Razor Dealership when looking for American made chassis to add to our CRG and Birel chassis lines. Also a entry level high quality price point, as it turned out we got much more.

The US made chassis are well worth looking at, we sure are.

Fausto Died in 07 I believe. From there it went to two owners. The first outsourced it to Intrepid which was the hornet line which was in 08. The second owner never really got anything going.

I'm very surprised this name wasn't snatched up by someone. It had the best name brand going in american karting for many years.

Both Gary Hartman and Dan Lumello are alive and doing well.
I had dinner (two separate events) with both in the last month.
Jose' (GH) is retired and taking care of his cats and Ferrari memrobilla.
Dan is dabbling in real estate and playing allot of poker.
Both are hanging in the Vegas area.
Very Happy Very Happy
