Thats pretty wild. I wanted to ask a few questions:
1) No gearbox? What kind of gearing are you going to run and what kind of top speed are you shooting for?
2) This is going to be used on full length circuits as opposed to kart tracks? Where do you plan on taking it?
3) What tubing size are you using? I would think you would need to go pretty stiff for something with that much power?
4) What fuel are you using?
5) What kind of tires are you going to use? Custom rims to accommodate a wider tire or an off the shelf wheel?
I'm really looking forward to seeing some on track testing. It's very quiet for the amount of power it puts out. Seems like it would be suited to full length road courses as opposed to kart tracks.

Chris,
Chassis is a modified CRG Rebel, 32mm. It is a sprint kart, our local track is 1.2KM in length. It is geared for 90mph at 15,600 rpm. VP C12 fuel. Normal 5" and 6" rims at 7.1 and 4.5 tires. Not much different in weight compared to a 125cc kart. It would be awesome on a RoadRace track too. Next week is the track test.

Hi Riley, it a very nice project but got one question. How a second engine cannot change the total weight by that much? Have you remove /replace some parts for the lightest version? |

Our engines only weigh 26Lbs each.... Some 125cc shifter engines weigh almost 50Lbs!!

On that, you're right. My YZ125 engine weight almost 40 ishhh lbs. |

I have to agree, I didn't see you do anything remotely dangerous. I actually thought it was quite boring to be honest.
And if you can't control a few donuts in a parking lot of that size you probably have no business driving a kart in the first place. Pretty sure it was basically 100% safe. |

My 250 twin rear pipes, modified to have a perforated convergent cone and Euro end cap. I have them manufactured in Italy by Elto.
