Very impressive Andre - wow...... We are some very spoiled karters here in Florida with the quality of tracks available to us in Central Florida. I am looking so forward to the FKCS race at your new facility.

Jim, REALLY?
Anyone can see its configuration Q234Z453, Rev C. ... jeez of all the people who should know it should be you!
I heard the asphalt mix is built specifically to give the best grip for Maxxis and Hoosiers.
Looking good Andre!, Can't wait to see the finished project. |

Very impressive Andre! I look forward to trying it out. Gotta admit I didn't like the old track as it was far to rough. Not only is repaving a huge commitment but adding grass-wow, thats over the top! Congratulations, I hope everyone turns out and supports your effort and large investment here. I will come up as soon as I have a kart here to drive. One question, don't you have to let the surface cure at all in order to not tear it up?
Congratulations, well done.

Day 3 is complete.
All the track has been re-paved. All the new grass is down.
The track will open for rental karts tomorrow.
The track will be open for owners on Wed, Sat and Sun.
All owners MUST use MG blues with minimum 15 lbs psi.
We will monitor the new asphalt very closely, the asphalt plant is literally 1/2 mile away from the track and they will be making daily trips to see when the asphalt has cured enough to allow for more g forces.
I would like to thank everyone that has supported OKC. _________________ Andre Martins

Andre - I didn't get time to run you down at the FKCS race this weekend. A couple of questions....
I assume you guys have a good stock of the MG blues on hand?
Is there an on site kart center with tire changing equipment to assist if needed?
As soon as i finish the N FL Rotax next weekend we are heading your way for some track time while the FWT / Vacation time takes place at OGP.
Everyone is excited about the new track surface and the FKCS crowd is ready to bring it to Orlando for sure...
Thank You,
Jerry Brown |

Is the MG Blue requirement a permanent/full time requirement or just until the track cures well enough to allow other compounds? _________________ KEEP WORKING....millions of people on welfare depend on you !! |

Brian
My understanding is Andre wants only MG blues on the track until the track is cured, as different compound tires have a tendency to pull up or displace freshly laid asphalt, with that being said the FKCS visit to OKC is scheduled for May 25-27, with many different compounds being ran that weekend. We are planning to mount some MG blues on the TAG kart for some quick practice in the next couple of weeks. _________________ jlgracing
