Around $1400 - chassis, bumpers, nerf bars, spindles, steering shaft, tie rods and rod ends, brake/throttle pedals, some struts for seat, the aluminum "base" engine plate (the one with the two slots). I could be missing some bits and pieces. I had John add the "mounts" for the nose and extended side panels behind the rear wheels (extra cost above the $1400). These are small tubes bent into the correct shape with Dzus plates welded on. They weld on a small clamping tube on the key places of the frame into which you mount the Dzus mounting tubes. Two are at the front (Dzus plate is horizontal) and help mount the top side of the nose. The other four are at the rear - two help mount the top/horizontal part of the side panel - the other two help mount the vertical part of the side panel. This presumes you are extending the side panel back behind the rear wheel. These are very handy to have for body mounting.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the process of aquiring the funds to get a brand new chassis, something I have never had the joy of having. This is a lean time of year income wise but I have a few months to get it done. The CKI chassis is well engineered but I have heard thet they require some tweaking. Anyone have any input? Thanks and Happy New Year to all of You Go-Karters. We are the elite of amateur motor sports.

Talked with Van Gilder tonight. He is still building Elite karts. He is making them to order. No pre-builts in stock.

We are still waiting for some parts to come in from vendors to start the first three chassis. They will be both right and left hand. Here are some shots of the chassis fixture. I will post other images as time allows.

For info on the Rich Warren chassis, call Scott Granier at L.A.D.

TsMax karts came from Ted Swaintak on west side of Pittsburgh. I heard due to health iasues that he can no longer weld karts!! He does really nice work...and very easy to deal with.....he really helped me! Thank you Ted!!!!!!

JAGUAR chassis has been used by people i know with great success.
I do not believe that you ccould get a new Margay laydown out of Keith.......but would never hurt to ask!
John Klutz (CKI) is a wealth of quality information!! He gets things done....
Dont forget roger Hatcher in Tulsa..... nice karts!!!
Tough choices..........
