D D-H,
Sorry, I've been away from the forums lately. I'll try to make it on the 9th. I'm just one, if the 9th works for many, let's go for it! Although, there have only been 4 posters on this topic. How many are truly interested in coming?
Glenn will ask a lot of loaded questions and champion for less classes and skinny guys. Deb will offer many well thought out opinions based on her experience. And Russ..... Well thats another story. Russ will give strong opinions, based on the KISS philosophy (keep it simple stupid) and laced with LOADS of sarcasm. ME, I don't know. I'll play devils advocate on every topic, but I will give my honest opinion.
Let me know.....
ANDY

Deb DH: I am free anytime, don't make it too early, as I probably would have the longest drive, but noon and after is good (even 11:00 AM) On off weekends I try to hold the family to the 8AM rule, if they wake me before that I go from 0 to you-know-what in less than 60 seconds! Even my cat obeys the law! Deb K |

OK 1:00 pm on Sunday Sept. 9th.
I am in the Los Angeles area... Is that a good location for everyone? I don't mind going another direction, but it appears to me we have San Diego one way, The Valley the other way, unless I missed some people, or dont remember where my cities are!
I suggest Think Cafe: 302 west 5th Street San Pedro, CA. 310 519-3662. It has a nice outdoor patio where we could meet, and a larger indoor room, in case it rains.
take the 405 fwy to the 110 fwy to San Pedro (NOT TO LA< OR YOU WILL GO DOWNTOWN AND THE TOTAL WRONG WAY) the 110 will dump you off onto Gaffey street go straight ahead until you get to 5th and make a Left. Watch for THINK on the left. there is a parking lot, and also plenty of street parking.
**** If someone has a better suggestion I'm up for it! **** Let me know, and I will make a new post in Announcements with our finalized date/time. |

Deborah,
I know I could get a group of people from sacramento area. I know Terry Ives might have a thing or two to talk about.
I would love to know how far north you would be willing to go.

I will already be up north the weekend of Sept 14th, in Concord if someone wants to do another meeting up that a-way. Have a "girls weekend" planned with a college buddy, but heck, a few hours with some of you could be fit in somewhere.
Will be staying with friends, and will have to rely on BART for transport, but would be willing to carve out a bit of time for the karters in that area if that will work for you.
LET ME KNOW!!! |

For those interested in this shin-dig I posted the details under the GENERAL topic under Unofficial IKF chat lunch... or something like that. I need you to put your name on the site so I know who's coming!
As for the N. Calif. people. I haven't heard if you do indeed want a meeting, and if so where and when, please let me know. |
