Any opinions on what is the best model and size carburetor for a YZ 250? Jetting baseline? Any help would be apreciated.

That sounds like the MX motor!! I am using a honda CR250 with the Dellorto 39. Compared to some of the other carbs I had used with the 125, I like the Dellorto better. I think others are also using mikuni and even keihin.
Here is one place to check on Dellorto tech info as well as pricing info.

| It is the MX engine, and will be used for Road Racing. I am trying to get a close idea on carburetor setup for this application. |
