Getting logged out?

I use IE8. When I have another window open, FaceBook, youtube or bobs, I get logged off EKN. I never get logged off BOBs unless I clear cookies.
It is annoying to miss new posts or not be able to finish a very well thought out rant or dissertation. Evil or Very Mad

Ekartingnews.com is one of my bookmarks. I choose to have to log in everytime I visit.

I just got logged out while emailing a link from the classifieds to a friend.

I only got through 3 and 1/2 pages of new posts since my last vist. Now that info is lost.

And now eventhough I have navigated away, I am not logged out.

It's gotten worse. Sometimes I get logged out before I can even read one thread. This only happens on the Ekarting site. Never happens on the many other sites I frequent.
I wish you'd fix it. Confused

Wally ,DC ,Rob, Happened to me again this afternoon . Turned on the computer ,went to check a response ,15 seconds into reading the response it kicked off and I had to Log back in again.

Guys, thank you for your input. While we understand your frustration, the only solution we can find is that it is user error. It may have to do with the settings you have with the Internet Explorer or Firefox.

I do know that sometimes when I mistakenly open two IE windows at the same time, it will bounce me off of my log in as well.

Dc : Well it might be on my end as I do have/use firefox. But the only time it creates a problem is on EKN no other sites or forums.

It's still happening. Got loggeed out just now, before I could look at one thread.
OK, DC, if it's user error, how come it only happens on this site and no other?????

It's even worse today. Had to log in 3 times in the first 5 minutes. Had to log in again to write this. I can't use the "view post since your last visit" since I get logged out almost every time.
I don't care what you say, it's something to do with this site since it never happens on any other site I visit.

Just had to log in 3 times to answer a PM.
Question: could my Earthlink dial-up service have anything to do with getting logged out on this site. So far, I've been unable to upgrade to any highspeed service in my area.
Doesn't happen on any other sites I visit though.
