I've got an idea. It involves front-wheel-drive vehicles with rear wheel steering.
Yes, forklift racing.
The only form of motorsport where you are more likely to spin out on the straightaways than in the turns. These vehicles are actively unstable when driven forward, and have chain or hydraulic steering. Speeds would be quite low and you wouldn't need a long track.
