In my opinion CKI's "low kart counts" may be because one of their race dates bumps heads with the WKA Florida state series.
Some people that run the manufactures cup also run their state series to transfer points.
In the state series they give the driver 50 bonus points for attending all the races, so you would not want to miss any.
On a positive note, Ashley and I had a great time at this past weeks CKI event. It is one of the most professionally run series and the tech is second to none.

P.S. The FKCS series often has 150 entries or more.

There seems to be great drivers in all the classes. However, 93 total? And as I understand it 17 in the Mini Max final? Top 5 may look good until you realize that first place seems to check out and top four are half the track behind. Second year CKI series, same as the first????????? ( Derek's Dad)
If you are less then 2 tenths from the winner then you will have a good chance at the Grand Nationals. It's still great practice!

5 thousandths of a second in fast times 1st and 5th....

8 hundredths of a second difference 1st through 5th...

The high competition level still remains at these events.

Wow!! It looks like the mini max class was the closest racing 1/3 of the rest.. The seniors better watch out..

The time gaps can happen in any event at any given time....

"Rotex" ??? Rolling Eyes
Example is the minimax prefinal at the Rotax Grand Nationals....
over 7 seconds from first to fifth.. on a 49 second track...
1 403 Ethan Low 14 11:29.465 49.353 12 50.331
2 29 Trenton May 14 11:31.304 1.839 49.082 7 50.609
3 6 Patricio OWard 14 11:34.535 5.070 49.282 7 50.404
4 3 Michael Womack 14 11:36.751 7.286 49.358 5 50.326
5 75 Drew Setzer 14 11:36.855 7.390 49.540 12 50.141

Prefinals, the system in which we try to bring the best driver to the top for that day! Maybe that is why first is so far ahead of fifth. SERVED! and leaving the game......lol

The only class at last years Rotax Grand Nationals that was close in elapsed time from 1st to 5th was the mini max class. All the others were as great or greater than last weeks CKI event that you speak of..

Here are the times from the Rotax Grand Nationals....

Junior Max... Difference from 1st to 5th 10.986 seconds

1st.. Nick Nerri......5th Phil DaLeo

Senior... Difference from 1st to 5th 11.871 seconds

1st Phillip Arscott.....5th Arie Quimet

DD2... Difference from 1st to 5th 15.193 seconds

1st Cody Hodgson....5th Carlos Duenas

Micro Max... Difference from 1st to 5th 19.129 seconds

1st Logan Sargent....5th Michael dOrlando

What pecentage of a football field or fields are the above differences?

"Served".... It was called a fault, maybe they could LOWER the net...lmao

Like I said! Fifth place sounds good until you see the gap by seconds, or distance. As for the distances that Jimmy is asking for, well figure it for yourself Jimmy if you can! Why don't you just meet me somewhere and we can finish this conversation then. How is that for lowering the net. This is my last response to any thing you write.
