I'm going to ditto Joe's question, as I haven't seen the Orange Arrows for over a year.
Joe, the next PSGKA race is July 12. I'll be out there practicing on the 11th. You going to grace us with your presence or keep agonizing over which neck brace to get? Last race the Tag guys ran the main in a hail storm on slicks. No kidding; most fun I've ever had flagging. It won't be that crazy next time, but it's still a good time. We have one other brand new guy in a Tag, so if he shows you won't be alone. |

Great thread, guys. I love seeing everyone's hot rods...so cool.
However, the complete absense of EKN decals is killing me!
If anyone wants a couple decals for their karts, send us an e-mail with your mailing address to rhowden@howdenmediagroup.com and put 'EKN Decals' in the Subject line. I'm working on a special program for drivers who support EKN by running our decals and this will be a great start. We've got a bunch of visorstrips as well, if anyone would like to get one for their helmets. _________________ Rob Howden

Haven't been getting out as much as I wanted so far this year, life and the job keep getting in the way I've hit that new track at Pacific for a few laps, but spent the majority of the day keeping the kid's running. I have the new trailer all together now (put the brakes on it Sunday), and her kart all set to go, so hopefully starting next week I can get some track time!
My brother moved and sold his kart before he left, so somewhere lurking out there is another Orange Arrow. Gave the new owner directions for signing up at Spanaway, so I'd imagine he'll surface soon.
The girlfriend's kart runs great, but isn't painted yet. I'm trying to come up with something meeting her requirements of pink / chocolate / butterflies that still looks remotely racey |

good question jim! my work schedule has been very crazy the last few months with people being out sick and working on days i wasnt anticipating working on... that.. and all of my money went into the kart and everything needed to get out there... now im all set with the memberships needed to race.. and i actually have went to the last two races at PSGKA and watched, and i think i did see a rookie.. #500 believe.. with the Orange plastic plate on the back.. hes been there both times ive spectated, but we left RIGHT before the main last time, nd right as we got into the spanaway strip it started POURING i wish we had stayed, but dumb me wore shorts and a tshirt.
i will be out there soon enough.. im going to be bringing my kart to PGP this week for some tuning and getting it running to my standards and should be rewady by the 12th!
and martin lets see some pics of the wifes new kart!! |

I'll play along too. I've been lurking for a long time now without saying much. These are old, but the kart hasn't changed...
First image is actually from 2006 when I first started testing a Leopard.
This second one is from 2007 and is just for Rob.
The third is my son's kart when he was 7, and is also just for Rob.

Yep. It was 97 degreees that day. I would race like that if they would let me. That was a practice day. I had the track to myself. 1/4 mile mimi sprint track. Rarely get over 65-70 mph _________________ where ever I go, I bring it |

Prop's to Joe Brittin for the picture. Tony Jump's custom graphics, but still my kart .
ROB HOWDEN. Look on the (Drivers) right on top of the bumper. Once I get my own graphics, those stickers are going to be all over. _________________ Kyle Prokup Racing
