Hey just a reminder that Rock Island Grand Prix registrations postmarked after Aug. 17 lose the price break. Save a few bucks and make our job a bit easier by sitting down this weekend and doing it. You can register online, too, at our web site at www.qconline.com/gpkart
There is no race weekend registration. Final deadline is 5 p.m. Thurs. Aug. 30.
So far registrations are running slightly ahead of last year, but lagging a bit in the controlled and can classes. So get those entries in !! Hope to see many of you here. It'll be another great show.
You also need to make hotel reservations ASAP before the host hotel fills up. |

| Will the semi pro class run under regional S-1 rules (open Tires) or will they be required to run the Bridgestone YGA? |

if there is any requirement, i'm sure it will be YGB, not YGA. |

SuperPro (King of the Streets) must run YGB as Spec Tire. SKUSA encourages its other drivers to use their normal spec tires, but those classes are Open Tire Rule just like the other RIGP classes.
Also tires, fuel, etc. are not part of the entry fee and no guarantee they will be available at the track, so bring your own supply. There is no limit on the number of tires you can use, although we encourage everyone to use at least four !! (I know, the joke is getting old).
Other than tires, the SemiPro class will run under S1 rules, although it is open to all other 125cc drivers.
Hope I've made that clear as mud.

| Does any one know what the 80s will run for gearing? I asked this before but never got a response. |
