With a busy 2007 schedule thus far, the EKN staff has been busy attending events, collecting race reports coast to coast, and searching for the next breaking news story. In doing so, it has been hard to fit into the EKN editorial schedule a Suggest a Caption contest. Finally, after finding some time to go through the 2007 collection of photos and finding the right partner for the prize, EKN is happy to open up the August Suggest a Caption Contest Presented by Bad Goat Racing Graphics.
Established in 2004 by Marc E. Miller Jr., Bad Goat Racing Ltd. is a manufacturer and distributor of kart and kart related products. Marc’s experience includes working for a number of years as a mechanic and race technician for J&J Karting Group in Erie, PA. Marc’s work as a race technician included the WKA and Stars of Karting race series. Prior to his work with J&J, Marc worked for McMillin Motorsports, who raced BMW M3's in the Speed GT World Challenge series. In 2005, Marc completed his advanced education at MMI in Phoenix, Arizona. While at MMI, Marc worked as a mechanic and race technician for CompCor Distribution in Scottsdale, AZ, the former US importer for Tony Kart.

So, here is this month’s photo. Taken by EKN’s David Cole at the Stars of Karting Eastern Division event at New Castle Motorsports Park, ICC drivers David Jurca and Gary Carlton swapped roles with the entertaining NCMP umbrella girls before the main event Sunday, certainly worthy of some creative captioning.
