Group B Wrap-up
The second group of the Florida Winter Tour categories took over the Homestead Karting facility this past weekend as eight classes ran the third and fourth rounds of their six-race schedule. For the most part, the weather was fantastic with clear skies, albeit with temperatures that were much lower than expected. A hard rain did fall on Saturday night and Sunday morning, providing for a few wet qualifying sessions, but the track eventually dried for a great day of wheel-to-wheel competition. In the exciting Pro Shifter class, January double-winner Michael Vincec could not find the same dominant form, opening the door for Jon Branam to score a popular win on Saturday while Keith Spicer gave himself a birthday present by stepping onto the top rung of the podium on Sunday. In what was a hard-fought weekend of ICA racing, former karting star Michael Giessen made the most of a one-off return with MRP-Birel America, sweeping the weekend in style.

Group A Wrap-up
The Florida Winter Tour presented by Tony Kart Florida returned to the Homestead Karting facility this past weekend for the second double-weekend stop of the ’07 campaign, running the third and fourth rounds of the Group A Rotax class schedule. The big dogs came out to play once again as the series continues to promote all five Rotax classes with excellent support. The DD2 program showed a solid jump as well, putting ten drivers on track for competition, after seeing just six entries at the opener. The Senior Max class offered up some great racing while the Mini Max drivers were very notable in their racecraft and poise, impressing the entire paddock.
