SUNDAY, AUGUST 20
Cloudy skies and cooler weather greeted the Stars of Karting drivers when they arrived at the Infineon Raceway Karting Center this morning for Championship Sunday with the Western Division titles up for grabs. The weather soon changed for the ICC Qualifying session and stayed clear and sunny throughout the day with comfortable weather conditions. However the action on track was hot with tensions high for many drivers looking to make their bid at the Western crown.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 19
The first days of competition here at the Infineon Raceway Karting Center is now in the books and the racing was awesome with exciting fights for race wins in all five categories. The divisional championships have undergone a few changes with new leaders and tightened races setting up for a big day on Sunday.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 18
Clear skies and pleasantly moderate temperatures greeted the drivers and teams of the Snap-on Stars of Karting Western Division when they arrived at Infineon Raceway for the final round of the program before heading to the National Finals in Toronto in mid-September. Today’s schedule included six practice sessions, with the final two being put on the official AMB timing system, giving the paddock a look at the drivers who would be contending for race wins this weekend. The Western Championships are up for grabs and in all but one class, the point leaders could be found lurking in the top ten.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 17
The Western Division of the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL will conclude its schedule this weekend and crown its champions at the Infineon Raceway Karting Center in Sonoma, CA. With the Eastern Division already wrapping up its schedule two weeks ago at Shawano, the Western pilots will make there bid for their own championships as well as setting themselves up in the National Championship battle.
