SUNDAY, AUGUST 6
After a great day of Stars of Karting competition under clear and sunny skies in Shawano, WI, a hard rain shower pummeled the facility and cleaned the track of the rubber built up through Saturday’s events. The mechanics and drivers were forced to re-think their chassis set-ups for this important day, in which the divisional titles would be decided. The weather conditions fluctuated from cloud cover and threatening rain to sunny skies, but the teams all worked well to put on a fantastic display of racing. In the end, five drivers had earned divisional championships and will all be considered as the favorites for the national titles in Toronto this September.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 5
The opening day of racing went into the books at USA International Raceway as the Eastern Division of the Stars of Karting program took one step closer to completion. The title fights closed a couple classes and actually debuted a new leader in another. All said, it was a great day of competition with only one red flag slowing the schedule.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 4
The drivers of the Snap-on Stars of Karting Eastern Division have made the trip to Shawano, WI for the final round of their coastal schedule and they have been greeted by what is likely the best weather we’ve seen this year. The conditions are a comfortable 80 degrees with clear skies. The paddock is completely full with 165 entries on the weekend for the five classes on the Stars docket.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 3
The Eastern Division of the Snap-on Stars of Karting Presented by the IRL will conclude its schedule this weekend and crown its champions at the USA International Raceway in Shawano, WI. This will be the second year that the series has visited the newer facility, which was unveiled to much fanfare in 2004.
