| EKN "Suggest a Caption" July 2006 Contest |

Sitting around the computer, working hard on the latest SKI issue and making sure the EKN content is updated. I searched for a photo of a driver and happened to find the old Suggest a Caption segments that were previously on the site. The last contest back in early 2004 featured two former employees of Super Kart Illustrated - Mike Maurini (now with FirstKart.com) and Todd McCall (OTP.ca). The image, which will be etched in EKN history forever, was submitted by the popular photog Sean Buur of GoRacing Magazine.
With some photos taken over the past two seasons, we thought it would be great to get some creative fun back on the forums of EKN. As many of you know, the Stars of Karting staff is a hard working group, dedicated to providing the best racing series in North America. What some of you may not know is that they are also the fun group of people. During the Stars New Castle event, Race Director Kevin Williams and Operations Manager Kirk Rider surprised the ICC field on Sunday for their Final by wearing paintball masks while lining them up for the start, that led to this months “Suggest a Caption” contest.
