SUNDAY, MAY 21
After dawning with cloudy skies and cool winds, this particular Sunday in May was capped with sunny skies at the New Castle Motorsports Park for the second Western round of the Snap-on Stars of Karting national championship. Despite a handful of nasty incidents, the day worked through to completion with a pair of double winners and two brand new victors.

SATURDAY, MAY 20
Blue skies covered the New Castle Motorsport Park on Saturday as the second round of the Snap-on Stars of Karting Presented by the Indy Racing League series hit the ground running in Indiana this weekend. A total of five classes were on tap for the Snap-on Grand Prix Presented by Bridgestone opening run of this double-header weekend at what many believe to be the finest kart track in the country. With the Speed Channel cameras running, a packed paddock readied for a day of heated competition.

FRIDAY, MAY 19
With the Western Division already with two races in the books for the 2006 Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL schedule, the Eastern Division meets for the Snap-on Grand Prix presented by Bridgestone this weekend at the New Castle Motorsports Park, located just an hour away from famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. While the front row for the Indy 500 will be decided Saturday, the championship contenders for the Eastern championship will be decided by Sunday night.
