CRE Motorsports of Calhan, Colorado is proud to announce the formation of the Arrow/Rotax Racing Team presented by CRE Motorsports to compete in the 2005 Colorado Sprint Championship Series TaG classes. The effort is to put CRE's flagship product line in to serious competition against the best of the CSC and to promote the national and international Rotax Max Challenge.
The team will be comprised of Pat Rosse in TaG Junior, Dane Buckley in TaG Seniors and Michael Hurley in TaG Masters. All three are talented, experienced veterans in Colorado kart racing and are a sure bet to put the Arrow brand on the podium at the CSC Series events.
Rosse was the 2003 CRE Track Champion, IKF Region 4a Points Champion, IKF Colorado State Sprint Champion and the CRE 2003 Triple Crown Winner in the Junior I Comer class and was the 2004 WKA Colorado State Sprint Champion in the Junior Rotax class. Pat put on an incredible charge in an LCQ event at the 2004 Rotax Grand Nationals to move up nine or ten positions in a quality field. Pat is a great kid who is very quite, calm, cool and collected on the track and has been superbly coached by his mechanic and dad, Joe.
Buckley finished second in the 2003 CRE Track and IKF Regional Points Championships and won the 2003 IKF Colorado State Sprint Championships and also the 2003 & 2004 CRE Rotax Challenge Championships. Dane is a dogged and determined racer who isn't going to give you an inch on the track but would bend over backwards to help get another competitor in to an event. It is unfortunate that Dane didn't start his racing career until his early twenties as he surely shows the talent to have gone much further in the sport.
Hurley is one of the most likable racers that you could ever meet. Michael has been a consistent top three finisher in the Masters class events that he has been able to participate in at CRE over the past two seasons. His racing schedule has had to come second to his commitment to the National Guard over the past two years due to the war in Iraq. Michael has the potential to put his kart in the winner's circle every time he competes.
Dennis "Duff" Dyer is the designated road team manager who co-ordinates the teams operations. Duff is filled with energy and enthusiasm and is the heart of what makes the Arrow/Rotax Racing Team. The teams approach emphasizes fun first, sharing second and performance last. Each team member is there to help each other succeed; if this formula is followed the results will speak for themselves. |
