DAY 5 - SUNDAY, JANUARY 23
Megenbier takes stellar fifth in Lanzarote
Racing action has ended here at the Gran Karting Club in Lanzarote. Best news of the day for the American squad was the excellent performance of junior driver Tim Megenbier. Tim worked hard all week, never really put a wheel in the wrong spot, and in the end took fifth in his first world championship race.

DAY 4 - SATURDAY, JANUARY 22
Both grids are set for the Pre-finals
Friday was the biggest day of racing so far here at the Gran Karting Club in Lanzarote. And what we saw today was just a warm up for the finals tomorrow. The day started with one last test session before finishing up the last of the qualifying heats to set the grid for Saturday's finals. Having been to three of these events now, and being a proud American, I am pleased to announce that this is the strongest representation we've had at the Rotax World Finals since it's inception.

DAY 3 - FRIDAY, JANUARY 21
Qualifying and first heat races start to heat up the action in Lanzarote
Thursday was the first official day of racing here at the Gran Karting Club in Lanzarote. Today's action consisted of a morning warm-up, followed by qualifying and then the first heat races of the weekend.

DAY 2 - THURSDAY, JANUARY 20
Melton tops North American contingent in International category as practice continues in Lanzarote
Wednesday was another busy day at the Gran Karting Club in Lanzarote. After Tuesday's break-in sessions, today was the first real chance to see who brought their A-game to the RotaxMax World Finals.

DAY 1 - WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19
EKN’s Ken Johnson reports from Lanzarote
Greetings from the Gran Karting Club in Lanzarote (pronounced Lan-Zar-O-Tay) where the fifth annual Rotax World Finals is now underway, set to crown the Senior and Junior Rotax Max World Champions. Tuesday was the first day of on-track action and the American and Canadian teams were hard at work with their RM1s and CRG karts.

PREVIEW - TUESDAY, JANUARY 18
Rotax Max Champions Prep for Worlds
Six drivers from the United States and three from Canada are now on location to represent their respective nations at the 2004 edition of the Rotax Max Grand Finals. The race is being held this year in Lanzarote on the Canary Islands, which are located just off the European mainland near Portugal. The competitors at this year’s event come from the three disciplines of Rotax competition recognized around the world: International, Junior and RM1.
