| Track News: New York Drivers Storm Florida Winter Tour at Homestead Karting |

It was an all “New York” Formula Vortex Tag Cadet podium at Miami’s Homestead Karting Center for the third round of the prestigious Florida Winter Tour. Finishing on the top step of the podium in first place was Anthony Gangi of Upper Brookville, NY. Finishing in second place was Dylan Tavella of Massapequa, NY. And in the third spot was Michael d’Orlando of Hopedale, NY. Finishing in 8th, and scoring fastest lap in the race, was Gio Bromante from Glen Cove, NY. Hannen Motorsports is very proud to have all four drivers call Oakland Valley Race Park in Cuddebackville, NY their “HOME TRACK.”
New York drivers also dominated the podium in the Formula Tag Junior class. Finishing in first place was Jack Weprin from Chappaqua, NY followed by Gavin Reichelt of Rhinebeck, NY in the #2 spot. The two drivers, who also call Oakland Valley Race Park home, bested competitors from all over the world. At the podium presentation Bill Wright, Series Director, commented, “What the heck do they put in the water up there in New York!” |
