| Team News: KMS North America Formed |

 | | KMS North America has formed and will debut at Florida Winter Tour |
We are proud to present "KMS North America" as the new racing team to replace the SRA Karting team.
At the head of the team will be Peter Kalman from Hungary. Peter has a vast amount of experience in karting, not only as a driver where he was a factory with Mach 1 in Formula A and a former team mate of Robert Kubica, but also as a tuner and team manager. In recent times Peter has been the head of the very successful KMS Hungary team which participated in the Rotax Euro Challenge winning DD2 category in 2008 and then taking the crown in 2011 in Snr Rotax. Also in the same year Peter took the Rotax Grand Finals victory in Snr with Ben Cooper and most recently at this year’s Grand Finals they repeated the same feat in the DD2 category. Now Ben Cooper will join Peter in running the new KMS North America team as a coach/driver. With the two having previously worked together very closely and successfully, everything is there for the new team to succeed.
KMS North America will be based at Circuit Karting Mont Tremblant, and will therefore work very closely with the Jim Russell Karting Academy. This will allow team drivers as well as any other drivers to come and participate in a whole range of courses developed by Ben Cooper throughout the last year. Courses ranging from complete novice all the way through to courses covering all aspects of a race weekend. Also in the future we are looking to develop a mechanic/chassis tuning course as well as an engine tutorial with the Jim Russell Karting Academy. The academy will then cover all aspects of the karting sport and will welcome anyone from the karting world to come and learn whatever it is they want to learn. We are looking forward to the new project for the team and for the academy over the next few years.

-Rotax Euro Challenge (teaming up with the KMS Euro team)
-Eastern Canadian Karting Championships
-Coupe du Québec
-Canadian Championships
-Pan-American Championships
-Rotax World Finals (Nola)
-SuperNats
Currently with the team in transition, KMS North America will use all the equipment of SRA Karting and will develop its own identity ready for the start of the Canadian season.
